SAM ZELL TEACHES TRIBUNE “JOURNALISTS” WHAT THE FIRST AMENDMENT IS ALL ABOUT
Well, well … score one for the media boss! It takes a businessman to teach a few so-called journalists how the First Amendment works.
The Enterprise Report has obtained this email sent out to employees of Tribune’s media companies by its new owner Sam Zell today.

Why do media companies think they have to0 protect their employees from negative comments?

Leave it to a guy with no background as a journalist to tell those suits at the Tribune Company what is right. Other companies should watch and learn. You can’t halt the flow
of information.

Filtering what reporters can see, boy that sounds like the right idea! what a crock of %$#@ These are the same hypocrites who try and tell us that we need to worry that everything is going to kill us and the sexual predators are going to get our kids and blah blah blah .. and they do it not to inform us under the first amendent, they just do it so they can make money and make up the news at the cheapest prive possible! Infotainment is not news, good for Zell he knows more about the first amendent than the journalists that work for his companies!

Might be Sam Zell is good for Tribune. At least he doesn’t mind his employees reading what might be negative comments about their company. Way to go!!!!
